In defense of voice talent

Do we really need a bunch of big names doing the voices for animated films? Aren't there some talented unknowns who aren't blessed with movie star looks who could use the work. This isn't to say that I feel voice work is any less acting than performing on screen. I simply suspect there might be an actress who can do a better Fiona than Cameron Diaz, and said actress would never have a shot at being an angel.


Hollywood seems more incestuous (for lack of a better word) than ever before.
